Live Action Fairy Tale

Hotel Hijinks
A family get-together brings centuries-old vampire Vlad to town, along with some secrets and drama, as he visits the estranged son he hasn’t seen in years in Hotel Transylvania 2 (Sony Pictures). The animated sequel sees the ancient houseguest turn everybody’s life upside down, from Drac and his daughter Mavis to hotel regulars such as Frank, Wayne Werewolf, and Murray the Mummy. Featuring the vocal talents of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Selena Gomez and Mel Brooks, Hotel Transylvania 2 opens in theaters nationwide on September 25.

Shakin’ It Up
Two girls from Brooklyn create a gaming empire in Game Shakers, Nickelodeon’s newest live action comedy, premiering September 12 at 8:30pm. Created by TV hit-maker Dan Schneider, the new series centers on middle-school students Babe, a girl who dreams big, and Kenzie, a girl who can code. Together they create the biggest mobile game of the year and team up with rap superstar Double G, his son Triple G and schoolmate Hudson to launch their own gaming empire. Still Curious
Everyone’s favorite mischievous little monkey is back to his inquisitive ways in Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle. In this animated, adventure-filled feature-length movie, Curious George takes a trip to space but crash-lands in the jungles of Africa, leading to an unforgettable journey with new animal friends. Available in stores and online now from Universal Studios, Curious George 3 features the voices of Angela Bassett and John Goodman, along with music by the Plain White T’s.
 

On The Side

A Howling Good Time
Just in time for Halloween, everyone’s favorite wolf pack is back for a spooky all new adventure in Alpha and Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave. Lionsgate Home Entertainment presents this animated thrill ride filled with humor and heartwarming moments when Runt the Omega wolf cub sneaks off to explore the haunted Saw Tooth Cave. Along the way he comes across a young wolf who’s been driven from her pack for being different, musters all of his courage to help her, and learns the joys of lending a paw to a friend in need. Sun, Surf and Soundtrack
