“POETRY AS MEMOIR” FREE PUBLIC WORKSHOP SERIES WITH GLENIS REDMOND

Discover your inner poet in this series of three State Theatre Poetry Collective workshops, led by State Theatre Artist-in-Residence Glenis Redmond. Using the theme of “Poetry as Memoir,” the workshops offer easy-to-follow exercises to help participants relate to stories and imagery in their lives. Glenis introduces simple techniques —brainstorming, imagery, word layering—for writing expressive, highly personal poetry. Come explore the lyrical and narrative nature of poetry. Come tell your story through verse.
