Rather than toting your tykes to the card store the next time you’re in need, enlist them in making their own creations to celebrate the upcoming occasion.

This mixed media project allows little ones to use a variety of materials such as scrap paper and stamps.

Materials:

Scrap paper-stamps-old book pages-paint-chipboard-small envelope-glue

Directions:

Glue paper scraps onto a chipboard sheet in the size of your choosing. Keep in mind that this card will read like a postcard, so both sides must be adorned. Paint. Layer with scraps, book pages and vibrant tapes. Add more paint and include stamps. Adhere a decorated envelope to one side if there is a check or gift card to be included.
