Dr. Nachaat Mazeh

Dr. Nachaat Mazeh is a research associate at Beaumont Health System in Michigan, working on computer simulations in cardiac electrophysiology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, a master’s degree in particle physics, and a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences. His current interests in biomedical research consist of bridging the gaps between scientific discovery and clinical implementation. He is currently applying non-invasive imaging techniques, such as speckle tracking echocardiography and MRI, to build patient-specific computer models to simulate many diseased conditions. He’s also working on building the cardiac architecture from non-invasive analysis to possibly identify the heart “fingerprint.”
